What Are You Holding Yourself Back From?

Hey Friends!

Today, I’d like to talk about something that’s been on my mind lately: how we spend our time. Time is a precious commodity, and it’s important that we use it wisely. It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day routine and lose sight of the bigger picture. However, by taking a step back and thinking about where we want to be in the future, we can make better decisions about how we spend our time now.

We all have a limited amount of time, yet we often spend it on things that only have an incremental upside. While it’s important to focus on the tasks at hand, it’s also important to think about the long-term benefits of our actions. What if we instead spent it on things that can give us the biggest upside or mitigate the biggest downside? By prioritizing our time and focusing on the most important tasks, we can achieve great things.

It takes no extra effort to work on the big things, but it is our self-limiting beliefs and fear of failure that stop us from going after ambitious goals. It’s easy to get caught up in the fear of failure, but it’s important to remember that failure is just a stepping stone to success. By taking risks and pushing ourselves beyond our comfort zone, we can achieve great things.

So I encourage you to take a moment to introspect and see if you are holding yourself back from reaching your goals. What is one thing you can do each day to take huge strides towards your goal? Remember, it’s the small steps that lead to giant leaps. By making small changes in our daily routine, we can achieve big things in the long run.

Have a great week! Aakash

❤️ My Favorite Things

📚 BookEat That Frog! – I am re-reading “Eat That Frog!” by Brian Tracy. Being productive is not just about being efficient, but also about being effective. Over time, everything falls into disarray, and re-reading this book is a reminder to me to get things organized again.

📱App – Loom. Working remotely requires good asynchronous communication. Loom allows the team to easily communicate and share videos, progress, and complex concepts. Best of all, I can watch the videos at 2x speed and get all the important information in half the time. Additionally, I can see the reactions and comments from other team members, which helps me jump directly to the relevant parts in the video. I also use Loom to give feedback to my editor.

💻 Website – Flaticon. People often ask me where I get icons for my YouTube thumbnails or videos. I almost always use Flaticon, which provides millions of icons and stickers in all formats for all kinds of projects. If you have a YouTube channel, website, or need to design anything, Flaticon is well worth checking out. 🙂
